Shipping policy
Luxuntique ships specially sourced, authentic sneakers from global stores to customers in Sri Lanka under the terms below.
Order Processing and Import Timeline
Luxuntique does not hold bulk stock; most pairs are imported on a pre‑order basis.
-
Standard Pre-Orders: A mandatory 50% upfront fee is required to confirm the order. The remaining balance can be paid via Cash on Delivery (COD), bank transfer, or an available automatic payment method.
-
Mutual Trust (Zero-Upfront) Pre-Orders: For these specially approved, legally binding orders, no initial deposit is required to initiate the sourcing process.
Average timelines from overseas purchase to arrival in Sri Lanka are 2–6 weeks, depending on store processing, shipping routes, customs clearance, and any external delays.
Shipping, Dispatch, and Delivery
Shipments are dispatched only after full payment is completed and recorded in our system.
-
Standard Pre-Orders: Dispatch occurs upon full settlement of the balance, with the explicit exception of approved COD orders where the final 50% is collected upon delivery.
-
Mutual Trust Pre-Orders: Items will be dispatched to the customer strictly upon the completion of the full 100% payment. COD options are not applicable to Mutual Trust orders; the invoice must be settled in full before the item is handed over to the courier.
Once goods arrive in Sri Lanka and pass our quality and authenticity checks, and your payment obligations are fulfilled, we hand your order to trusted local courier partners for delivery to the address you provided at checkout or in your order form. Standard delivery within Sri Lanka usually takes 2–5 working days from dispatch, but these timeframes are estimates and may vary during peak periods, public holidays, adverse weather, or courier/customs delays beyond Luxuntique’s control.
Shipping Fees, Duties, and Taxes
Where possible, Luxuntique provides a single landed cost quote in LKR that includes product price, international shipping, estimated customs duties, taxes, and handling fees, unless clearly stated otherwise. If government authorities change import duties, taxes, exchange rules, or other regulations after your order is placed, additional charges may be required before release or delivery; any such changes will be communicated as transparently as possible. Incorrect or incomplete shipping details that cause redelivery, storage, or return fees will be the customer’s responsibility.
Delivery Attempts, Risk, and Inspection
Couriers will attempt delivery to the address provided and may require a signature, PIN, or OTP confirmation. If delivery fails after reasonable attempts, the parcel may be held at the courier depot or returned to Luxuntique; any re‑delivery, storage, or return‑to‑sender costs may be charged to the customer. Risk of loss or damage passes to you once delivery is confirmed by the courier, so please inspect packages promptly and report any visible transit damage to both the courier and Luxuntique within 24 hours, including clear photos and a description of the issue.
International Sourcing and Customs Regulations
Because Luxuntique sources from multiple countries, all shipments are subject to the export rules of the origin country and the import rules of Sri Lanka. Customs and other authorities may open, inspect, or temporarily hold parcels for additional verification, which can extend delivery times and is outside Luxuntique’s control. Luxuntique will provide reasonable supporting information for customs queries where possible, but final clearance decisions rest solely with Sri Lanka Customs and other relevant authorities.
