Read Luxuntique’s full Terms & Conditions for sneaker sourcing, pre‑orders, payments, shipping, cancellations, and refunds. Understand your rights and our responsibilities as we import authentic sneakers to Sri Lanka. Luxuntique’s payment terms apply to both online pre‑orders and in‑store purchases, with a clear focus on securing limited and custom‑sourced items, including specially approved mutual-trust orders.
1. Deposits and order confirmation
- Standard Pre-Orders: To confirm and place either an online pre‑order or an in‑store order, customers must pay a 50% deposit of the product price via bank transfer or any other accepted payment method. This deposit is non‑refundable and is required to secure the item and start the sourcing and import process. An order is considered confirmed only after the deposit has been received and acknowledged by Luxuntique.
- Mutual Trust (Zero-Upfront) Pre-Orders: In rare, explicitly approved cases, Luxuntique may mutually agree to accept a pre-order without an upfront payment (0% deposit). This privilege is strictly reserved for first-time customers placing their first order with Luxuntique, and is only offered after a reliable background check and formal confirmations. These orders are considered officially confirmed and legally binding the moment the customer agrees to the order details with our sales agents.
2. Payment of remaining balance
- Standard Pre-Orders: The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full before the product is dispatched to you, with the explicit exception of approved Cash on Delivery (COD) orders.
- Mutual Trust Pre-Orders: The full 100% invoiced amount must be settled upon notification of the product's arrival.
You may choose to pay this balance via COD, bank transfer, or an available automatic payment method. For online pre‑orders, once the goods arrive at our store in Sri Lanka, Luxuntique will notify you via WhatsApp, SMS, or email and may provide photographic and/or video proof of arrival. For in‑store purchases, you will be notified when the item is ready for collection and payment of the balance.
3. Collection, holding period, and legal recovery
From the date of notification of arrival, you have 7 days to: pay the remaining balance (or confirm COD delivery); and either arrange delivery (online) or collect the item in person (in‑store). If payment of the balance or confirmation of delivery is not received within 7 days, Luxuntique will continue to hold the order for a maximum of 30 days from the arrival date.
- Standard Pre-Orders: If the balance remains unpaid or the item is unclaimed after this 30‑day holding period, the order will be cancelled, and the deposit will be forfeited in accordance with our refund policy. Luxuntique may then resell the item without further notice.
- Mutual Trust Pre-Orders (Legal Enforcement): Customers who fail to complete the payment for zero-upfront orders, or fail to proactively discuss a resolution with our sales agents, are in direct breach of contract. These orders will not be cancelled. Instead, the customer's file will be handed over to our legal team for immediate payment recovery and further action in strict accordance with Sri Lankan Law.
4. Returns, exchanges and final sale items
Because many products are specially sourced, imported, and reserved per customer request, all pre-orders and items explicitly marked as "Final Sale" are strictly final. Mutual Trust (Zero-Upfront) pre-orders are strictly final and are entirely excluded from any cancellations, returns, refunds, or exchanges under any circumstances. Once a standard pre-order is placed and the deposit is paid, or a Mutual Trust order is agreed upon, it cannot be cancelled, returned, or refunded, except where required by applicable law. Size, colour, model, and any special requirements must be checked and confirmed by the customer before placing the order. Luxuntique is not responsible for incorrect selections provided by the customer.
For Stock Items maintained in our local inventory, Luxuntique accepts returns within 3 days of delivery. To be eligible, the stock item must be strictly unused, undamaged, and in its original packaging with all tags attached. Please note:
- The customer must provide and pay for return shipping.
- Approved standard returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from the refund.
- Exceptions to the restocking fee and shipping rules apply only if the item is materially defective, damaged on arrival, or clearly different from what was invoiced (e.g., wrong size/model), provided Luxuntique is notified within the 3-day window with clear photographic evidence.
5. Customer responsibility and acceptance
By placing an online or in‑store order and paying the required deposit—or by formally agreeing to a Mutual Trust pre-order—you: confirm that all information provided (including contact details, product details, and size) is accurate and complete; and acknowledge and accept these Luxuntique Order and Pre‑Order Payment Terms & Conditions, which form part of Luxuntique’s overall Terms of Service.
